LegitScore ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome extension that analyzes Amazon product reviews. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Install ID: A randomly generated anonymous ID stored locally on your device. Used solely to enforce monthly usage limits. Not linked to your identity.
• Amazon product data: When you visit an Amazon product page, the extension reads publicly visible review text, ratings, and product metadata to perform analysis. This data is sent to our servers, analyzed, and cached for up to 24 hours.
• Usage counts: We count how many analyses you run per month to enforce free tier limits. No other behavioral tracking.

What we do not collect

• Your name, email address, or any information that identifies you personally
• Your browsing history or activity on non-Amazon pages
• Any payment information
• Any data from pages other than Amazon product pages

How we use data

Review data is used only to generate analysis results. Cached results help us avoid re-analyzing the same product repeatedly. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data storage

Analysis results are stored on secure cloud servers. Data is retained for up to 24 hours for caching purposes, after which it expires.

Third-party services

We use third-party cloud infrastructure and AI analysis services to process and store data. These services are contractually bound to handle data securely and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Your rights

Since we don't collect personal information tied to your identity, there is no personal data to request, correct, or delete. Your install ID is stored only on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
